From the Collection:
This collection consists of a single order book maintained by the New River Grocery Company, a wholesale business operating in Fries, Virginia during the early 20th century. The book contains orders placed by customers and includes lists of items ordered and prices for each. Most of the company's customers were located in in Virginia's Galax, Pulaski and Wythe counties.
