Winifred Parsons Architecture Notebook,
The collection consists of a bound notebook containing about 800 cyanotypes, 300 halftones and process illustrations, and 32 hand illustrated images of architecture ranging from Ancient Egypt until 1900. The notebook is an expandable binder filled with leaves of lined notebook paper, signed by Winifred Parsons and appears to have been made for a class assignment sometime between 1900-1906.
Martha Bil Manevich Architectural Collection
Martha Manevich, architect of Argentina and the United States. Collection contains drawings of three projects developed, 1963-1965, at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina: a school, a hospital and an urban center. Also included are FAIA Fellowship Nomination materials (1995) for her work in heath care facilities.
William S. Tippett Letter,
The collection consists of a single letter from Sgt William S. Tippett to his wife, Maggie. Written from a parole camp in Annapolis, Maryland, the letter opens with Tippett's comments on news from home. A majority of the letter, however,details his stay in Belle Island prison (Richmond) from September 1863 until early March 1864. In particular, he describes the food (or lack of) and the poor conditions.

This collection includes coupons and promotional materials for the food products of J.H. Filbert Inc., dating from the late 1950s.
Bettie D. Cramer Manuscript Book,
The collection consists of a manuscript receipt book created by/belonging to Bettie D. Cramer of Wheeling, West Virginia, c. 1883. The notebook contains recipes, housekeeping tips, and elocution exercises.
J. Paxton Marshall Papers,
The J. Paxton Marshall Papers collection contains papers, reports and publications on land use issues in Virginia and surrounding states, as well as a small amount of biographical material. The documents included relate to Marshall’s tenure in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Virginia Tech (1967-1995), as well as his work with various committees and as a technical representative for the General Assembly of Virginia.
