Civilian Conservation Corps and Family Photograph Collection,
The collection includes CCC photographs from camps (at least some are in Virginia), as well as a number of family photographs. Most items are not dated, but some images come from the 1920s and 1930s.
Myrvin Lafe Pence Scrapbook and Class Photograph,
The Myrvin Lafe Pence Scrapbook and Class Photograph contains photographs, newspaper clippings, tickets, and other memorabilia from Pence's time as a student at Virginia Tech from 1918 to 1922.
Virginian Railway Photographs,
The collection contains 85 photographs of the Virginian Railway and 2 images from the Virginian Railway Company's Annual Report. Photograph subjects include locomotives, people (none identified), and railway accidents.
April 16, 2007 Community Photograph Collection,
A collection of 41 framed photographs having to do with the aftermath of the April 16, 2007 shootings. Photographers were community members who submitted images to be considered for an exhibition at Squires' Perspective Gallery in April 2008. Collection also includes additional digital images not framed for the show.
"An Ideal Home" Illustrated Scrapbook,
The collection consists of an illustrated scrapbook, detailing the set up for a household, possibly compiled for a new bride or a school assignment.
Walter S. Newman Collection,
This collection consists of an undated photograph album, program from his Inauguration as President of Virginia Tech, The Techgram, May 1, 1949 and an official photogram taken by The Foster Studio in Richmond, Virginia. There are several postcards and letters sent to Ella Boyer, possibly a housekeeper in the Newman family.
Welford D. Taylor Collection on Sherwood Anderson
This collection contains several series of materials: correspondence to and from Sherwood Anderson, correspondence and research files about Sherwood Anderson, and a small group of photographs, audio, video, and graphic art materials. Materials generated by Anderson date from 1918-1940. Other materials date from about 1929-2006.
