Abstract
Letter from Catlett Conway to Willie, observing that the increased numbers of medical professionals would do well to retain the “old time custom” of sympathy and gentle manners; asking Willie’s opinions on multiple subjects such as imperialism, taxation, politics, “negro rule,” war with Spain, and states’ rights vs. federal “incroachment”; and recounting the makeup and deeds of the 7th Virginia Infantry of Volunteers.
