Videotape of Admiral Beverly Coleman giving a lecture on Col. John Singleton Mosby (1833-1916), his grandfather, a Confederate ranger, born in Powhatten County, Virginia. Mosby enlisted in the cavalry for the Confederacy in the Civil War, and participated in the Bull Run campaign. Later practiced law in Warrenton, Virginia. Published Mosby's War Reminiscences, and Stuart's Cavalry Campaigns (1887). Unprocessed.
