Scope and Content Information
The Diane Elliott Gayer Collection (1997-2002) is comprised of publications, a community study, a curriculum vitae, and a poster.
Vermont Design Institute publications include "The Vermont Design Quarterly" Vol.1 - Vol. 4 (1998-2001), the Historic Main Street Partnership Study (St. Johnsbury, VT) (2001), and Groundswell: Sustainability Through Design.
Also included is a publication detailing The Left Bank Townhomes created by Principal Architect Gayer at Artimis Designs, Inc. in Denver Colorado.
The poster, entitled "Racial Justice & Equity" was designed by Gayer (1997) for the Burlington, Vermont Peace and Justice Center.
Also included in the collection is Gayer's curriculum vitae.

Biographical Note
Diane Elliott Gayer, architect involved in groups including Women in Design (Vermont) and Women in Architecture (Denver, CO), expands the expectations of what architecture can do and builds a more sustainable future based on community empowerment. Gayer, educated at the University of Colorado, is Director of the Vermont Design Institute and principal of Diane Elliott Gayer and Associates.
