This item is a Virginia Confederate election ticket from the Confederate presidential election held on November 6, 1861. The ticket contains twenty names. It includes presidential candidate Jefferson Davis, of Mississippi and vice-presidential candidate A. H. Stephens, of Georgia. In addition, it includes candidate names for the sixteen districts of Virginia, as well as Virginia state representative candidates John R. Edmunds, of Halifax and Allen T. Caperton, of Monroe.
