Christian Hook Diary,
Christian Hook was a Union Corporal in 151st Ohio Infantry (National Guard) during the Civil War. The collection contains his diary of May to August 1864, including entries on camp life and a near-court martial, as well as a reunion flyer for the regiment from 1925.
Horace B. Hooker Letters
Typed transcript photocopies of the Civil War letters of Horace B. Hooker, lieutenant serving in the Engineer Regiment of the West. Accompanied by photocopied typescript of "Personal Recollections of the Civil War," written by Hooker's wife Susan in 1907.
Joseph Hooker Letter
Union general in the Civil War. Letter from Capt. B.F. Harris of the 11th Regiment Battalion, from a camp near Fletcher's Chapel, Virginia, in February 1863, endorsed by Hooker from the headquarters of the Army of the Potomac in Washington, D.C. Letter concerns soldiers captured at Manassas Junction in August 1862, taken prisoners, paroled in January 1863, and reenlisted with Hooker.
Joseph L. Horr Papers
Proof sheets for a regimental history of the First Battalion, 13th Regiment, U.S. Infantry of the Civil War, sent to William McDonald of Chattanooga, Tennessee, for comments and corrections. The book was prepared for a 1888 reunion of the regiment, and never published.

Huff-Hylton Families Papers,
The collection consists of items from the early 1800s pertaining to the business dealings of Samuel Huff of Montgomery (now Floyd) County, Virginia. Materials include promissory notes, fines for Huff's failure to attend muster of the 75th Regiment of the Virginia Militia, and an indenture for land.
