Scope and Content The papers of the Virginia Chapter of the 4-H All Stars span the years 1964-2014. The collection includes minutes, correspondence, financial reports, bylaws and policies, membership rosters, and photographs. It also includes the organization's mission statement and constitution. In addition to information about the local chapter, the collection contains materials about the Interstate Order of 4-H All Stars and about the midwinter and summer conferences. Abstract

The Agricultural Ephemera Collection was established in 2015. The collection consists of materials in a variety of formats (advertisements, order forms and blanks, postcards, clippings, and more) that relate to agriculture, farming, livestock, and poultry & fowl, dating from the late 19th century to the present.

Scope and Content

Broadside entitled "Instructions for Using John W. Barnett's Patent Process for Curing Leaf Tobacco. Patented January 7th 1879." Barnett is identified as a resident of Big Spring, Montgomery County, Virginia.

Diary written in October 1874 by an agent of the Virginia State Agricultural Society. Records the people he spoke to about the State Fair and membership in the VSAS as he traveled to Lexington, Charlottesville, and Alexandria.
