W. J. Bryan Account Ledger
Account ledger of W. J. Bryan, a Greene County, Pennylvania farmer, listing sales and property rental transactions, as well as royalty payments received for coal and oil removed from properties in Marion County, West Virginia and Greene County, Pennsylvania.
H. A. Buchanan Ledger
Buchanan, as an agent for Mrs. W.J. Peterson of Wythe County, Virginia, kept her books and collected bank dividends, rent, and interest on notes in her behalf. Ledger shows statements for all money collected and paid.
Buckhorn Coal Company Records
The Buckhorn Coal Company records consists of 25 blueprints, eleven ledgers, and one deed of lease. The small collection of blueprints detail the coal lands and tunnels of Buckhorn Coal Company, as well as the prospectus and abstracts of lease arrangements. Accompanying the blueprints are eleven comprehensive ledgers which consist of stock transfers, roster of Buckhorn Coal Company stockholders, and cash books.

The papers include correspondence, account books, essays, receipts, newspapers, and plats and surveys of the Broaddus, Burks, Edmonds, Taliaferro, and Vaughan families of Amherst County, Virginia. Materials focus mainly on the Vaughan and Burks families and range from 1760s land grants to 1970s family correspondence.
