T. W. Hatcher Collection
The collection contains notes from Hatcher's tenure as a student at VPI, as well as VPI ephemera from the 1950s. The collecton contains photographs from campus and other locations, taken in the 1920s. Later materials consist of reports from the National Bank of Blacksburg.
James Morris Hicks Letter
Born in Campbell County, Virginia. Hicks attended VPI from 1897 to 1901, when he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. The collection contains a letter to Hicks’ father (December 5, 1897) discussing cadet drilling, his recent election to the position of Vice President of the freshman class, and replies to news from home.

Historical Photograph Collection (List of Subjects),
The photograph collection at Special Collections consists primarily of historical photographs of Virginia Tech, dating back to the 1890s. The collection is also home to historic images of Blacksburg, Montgomery County, the New River Valley, and Southwest Virginia in general. A photograph collection of faculty and staff from the university is maintained separately.
Edmund Welch Hobbs Scrapbook,
Scrapbook of Edmund Welch Hobbs (member of Virginia Polytechnic Institute's Class of 1932), focusing largely on events at Virginia Tech during Hobbs' years at the university and including programs, dance cards, newspaper clippings, and photographs.
Roy Jay Holden Papers,
Papers include field notes, charts and maps, and geological surveys and research results, covering the history of mineralogy and geology, especially in Virginia.
Isaac Hoppenstein Memorabilia,
The collection includes memorabilia from the life of Isaac Hoppenstein—a 1937 of Virginia Polytechnic and State University graduate. The collection contains newspapers, memorabilia from dances, school work, photographs, and correspondence, dating from 1925 to 1940.
