Papers of John Edward Williams, professor of mathematics (1903-1924) and dean of the college (1924-1943) at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Includes class notes taken by Williams as a graduate student at the University of Virginia; notes and solutions for various mathematical problems; texts of Williams' speeches; printed articles by Williams and others; diplomas and membership certificates.

Williamson's (class of 1941) bound and unbound notebooks from Artistic Photography class. Negatives and prints mainly of Virginia Tech scenes.

Professor of Biology from 1923 to 1957 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Letters to Wilson from students, colleagues, and friends upon his retirement from VPI in 1958.

Professor of Architecture at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from 1947 to 1983. Collection consists of twelve architectural drawings and four photographs of Wiss's private residence in Blacksburg, Virginia, designed by him in 1960.

The Charles S. Worley, Jr., papers consist almost exclusively of architectural drawings of designs by Worley, done from the mid-1950s to the early 1960s, with several designs undated.

Collection contains materials dealing with the Panama Canal, the public health activities of the Rockefeller Foundation, the United Nations Public Health Service, and the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration. Also includes correspondence to and from Daniel E. Wright while a colonel on the staff of Gen. Joseph W. Stilwell and at the U.S. Middle Eastern Command Headquarters in Cairo, as well as photographs from his travels.

The collection includes two letters from his father, Henry C., written in 1889 and 1904, as well as two forms from the VPI Military Department, dated 1905 and signed by Rufus J. Wysor.

The collection includes papers by Young relating to education in Virginia, as well as an original poem.
