Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Records,
The collection contains materials relating to Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (EO/AA) at Virginia Tech from 1986-2006. It includes EO/AA minutes, affirmative action plans, proposals, grants, executive orders, and information on faculty recruitment, the Family Friendly Policy Task Force, and awards. It also contains materials relating to various events, including Black Alumni Reunions, and areas of concern as well as information regarding the work force and lists of black alumni.
Virginia Tech Dining Services Records,
The Virginia Tech Dining Services Records comprises award submission scrapbooks for events and dinners hosted by the Dining Services department of the Division of Student Affairs that were compiled and submitted for awards from 1994 through 2013. A 2009 schematic design for the food court Turner Place at Lavery Hall is also included.

In general, vertical files at Special Collections include newspaper clippings, photocopies, ephemera, unpublished and/or informal publications, and other papers relating to a specific subject area. Files in this collection relate to individuals and families connected to the local area (Blacksburg, Montgomery County, and Southwest Virginia) and/or to Virginia Tech. Each individual/family below has at least one folder and many include cross references.

Agricultural Extension Service (now Virginia Cooperative Extension Service) Records
Charles Clement French, Records of the Office of the Vice President,
Charles Clement French served as Vice President of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute from January 1949 through August 1950. The collection contains primarily correspondence but also materials related to the American Chemical Society of Virginia, American Council on Education, Board of Control of Southern Regional Education; Educational Policy and Program Committee; General Education Board; and student alcohol consumption. Also included are travel vouchers and budget materials.
HokiePRIDE Records
The HokiePRIDE records include materials from the HokiePRIDE student group including items from all of its named iterations: Lambda Horizions; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Alliance; and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Alliance, including officer papers, office records, event planning information, resource pamphlets and directories, and copies of budgetary requests and accounting records.
