The papers in this collection include both personal and professional correspondence, ranging from November 1931 to March 1977. Johnson wrote to representatives at Public Works, American Society of Civil Engineers, the Department of Architectural Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and the War Assets Administration, among others.

The Henry J. Kelley Papers include correspondence, notes, drafts and offprints of publications, teaching materials, and research reports from 1948-1988.

The collection includes a list of birds, "Philpott Reservoir Christmas Bird Count," and a list "Butterflies Observed Along the Little River during Summer 1991."

The Kendall W. King (1926-1990) Papers span the years 1959 to 2000 (bulk 1960-1979) The collection includes materials on cellulase, Mothercraft Centers,nutrition in Haiti, nutrition an meeting world food needs, and miscellaneous professional and personal papers.

The collection consists of approximately 28 cu. ft. of manuscripts, particularly NACA and NASA reports and documents, meeting notes and agendas, and research materials. A later donation contains the manuscript for 2001 Kraft's autobiography.

The collection contains correspondence, speeches, notebooks, photographs, recordings, and clippings relating to the areas of agriculture, gas, oil, tractors, air and water pollution, waste treatment, and public relations.

The collection contains correspondence, memos, proposals, reports, and other papers relating to Landis' work with nuclear reactor projects and memberships on various committees, including the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors, the Virginia State Chamber of Commerce, and the Virginia Advisory Board on Industrial Development.

Correspondence, photographs, and miscellaneous materials relating to the personal life and university and military service of Claudius Lee, a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Correspondence, computer programs, publications, and meeting notes all relating to Lee's work for the National Bureau of Standards to develop a standard for the BASIC programming language. Included in the papers are a survey of twenty-seven descriptions of BASIC and a collection of published works relating to the language up to 1973. Also contains records (1977-1990) from the editorial staff of the Annals of the History of Computing.

The collection contains two charts on the Cumulative History of Game Cycles and Other Fluctuations in Abundance of Game in North America and Wisconsin, and a summary of the game cycle data.
